Phimai Paradise Boutique Hotel ★★★★

Easy check in. Good size bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows.Hotel reserved a parking spot on the road for us. 5 minute walk from hotel to the area where we needed to go.

We went to see the Phimai Light show,so with many roads in Phimai closed it wasn't easy to find the hotel. Kettle and cups in the room,but no spoons ,coffee and tea packets.

The breakfast is not so good. This is my personal opinion. A good English/American breakfast whould be good for the Hotels rating.

Perfect location next to the historical park with the ancient Khmer structures. Clean, modern room and bathroom. Friendly staff. They did me a huge favor by picking me up at the highway junction where I was left off by bus, about a 15 minute drive away. This was not arranged in advance. I called from the junction, and got lucky that the man spoke English, and sent a car out to pick me up immediately. And no charge for that; very good service. Phimai is a pleasant town. I recommend to stay two nights. Visit the national Museum, a short walk from the hotel. Further way, about a 30 minute walk, is the botanical garden with the “largest spreading banyan tree“ in Thailand.

Breakfast very basic; lousy coffee

The swimming pool was small but very welcome to cool down in. Breakfast was OK but not great. location and parking were good. Pub just across the road for cold drinks and food.

Frosted window so could not see out. Being woken up at 6.45 with music and the local anouncements over the loud speakers.

I stayed overnight. A coupe of days prior to arrival I emailed the hotel via booking.com advising that I required only one breakfast. On checking in reception tried to give and charge me for two breakfasts. I told them I was sole occupant of my room and that I had emailed the hotel earlier and said I only required one breakfast. The receptionist accepted this, took back one breakfast voucher and only charged me for one breakfast. Good. Then a day after checking out I receive a email from hotel via booking.com complaining I did not pay for 2nd breakfast and demanding payment. Of course I refused but very disappointed in customer service of this hotel and unlikely I will return. Charge extra for second cup of coffee at breakfast.

The big advantage of the accommodation is the location to the Historical Park and the market of Phimai. The departure to Korat by bus is also possible because of the central location. Nearby there are shopping and dining options. The rooms are a good size and the wifi works in the room. The pool is well suited for a refreshment. There is the possibility to rent bicycles in the hotel. It is also offered breakfast, which we did not use.

We arrived by bus directly from Bangkok to Phimai. One is then let out on the highway. From there it is still about 2-3 km to the hotel.

Nice swimming pool. Very clean and relax (1m20 deep) Great parking. Big rooms. Price is very good.

The climatisation blows on the bed. So you have too hot or too cold but difficult to have a correct temperature. Pillows are too hard. It's not confortable. No restaurant opened in July. Brakefast is limited to one dish american or Thai. Noice from outside the hotel (like Muezzin) starting at 6 AM. Bad or no view (or windows) from the room. Terrasse is very small with no added value.

Central location, room was pleasant and clean and had basic room service. It was perfect for a short stay. Staff were friendly and professional.

The electric wiring on the shower didn't look particularly safe especially In a wet damp environment. Apart from that I liked my stay here and would stay again.

Very central. Good parking. Good value for money.

Beds a little hard. Only one hard pillow. Reception staff poor. After booking I received an e.mail reference my request for a quiet room. I replied and got a reply from the hotel . But when I arrived they could not find my booking. I asked if they had empty rooms. They said "yes" but still searched in vain for my booking instead of just giving me a room. All this took about 10 minutes after a tiring drive.

Breakfast was a "set menu",but tasty and filling... enough to get you going for the day.Hotel in the centre of town,a short walk ( approx 300mts) to a large and fascinating Khmer ruins at Phimai Historical Park.A good "walking" town,ample ATMs'and convenience stores.

Nothing to report here,overall very satisfied.Had a "Superior"room which was clean and tidy,good balcony overlooking the pool,good facilities inside room,and a good bathroom with a decently flowing shower.Bed was very comfortable (King size).

Normal, but good Breakfast, good and central location, clean swimming pool, parking cost free, clean room, WIFI.

Until midnight noisy music from a biergarden near by, TV program during breakfast not suitable, bathroom could be a bit more modern
