perfect location to visit the ancient temple
Perfect location next to the historical park with the ancient Khmer structures. Clean, modern room and bathroom. Friendly staff. They did me a huge favor by picking me up at the highway junction where I was left off by bus, about a 15 minute drive away. This was not arranged in advance. I called from the junction, and got lucky that the man spoke English, and sent a car out to pick me up immediately. And no charge for that; very good service. Phimai is a pleasant town. I recommend to stay two nights. Visit the national Museum, a short walk from the hotel. Further way, about a 30 minute walk, is the botanical garden with the “largest spreading banyan tree“ in Thailand.

pleasant
The breakfast was made of a pork rice soup that I personnally very like and enjoy. The hotel was comfy in a calm area. There is a nice restaurant at the corner and a night market 5min away by walk.
the pool was close when we visited and we were informed about it just few days before the trip.
